Yeah, you're probably right. Although most of the work is done during the currently to hot nights ;).

As the new 'bug' section says: there is a resizing bug when viewing the back. Click the bottom of the widget to make it large before you view prefs to get the smoothest transition.
The code cleanup is needed now more than ever. This was one of the lasts steps in the beta stage. I will now (appart from fixing some more - user reported - bugs maybe) start working on the widget from scratch. Less code, nicer graphics, easier to use. It will take a while though.
Any request on widget abilities will be considered.
Time to enjoy the weather.

Does anybody know if the push is applied to chat messages when the messages toggle is on? Does it only apply to the messages that arrive in your inbox? Also, could someone explain what Facebook gathers from your phone during sync? I would rather not give any information that compromises anything my friends would like to keep out of the hands of Facebook.

I don't know what kind of posh school would buy iPads! What would they do with them? Hand them out to students and go "hey guys, free iPad!" or would they allow students to browse the web during lessons? Or is it only to read books? In that case, books are cheaper, and offer a more book-like experience... don't they? The idea of school text books being available for the iPad is cool, allowing students to only carry the iPad around, but I don't think text books will get made into digital versions anytime this decade. Teachers usually want students to use books that were published like 5 years ago... I think a laptop would be more suitable for students, but only at university, not at school, since they don't allow you to submit typed text or study from the internet anyway.

Question for folks who have gone (or purchased ticket voucher). From the looks of it, you buy a voucher, which you then redeem online for a ticket, correct? Can you buy the voucher now, but fill in the attendee ticket details at a later time? I'm going to buy, but there's the off chance I won't be able to attend, so I'd like to give the ticket to someone else. The ticket holder needs photo ID to get in, so they obviously can't use my ticket. So I'd have to wait until I know for sure to claim the voucher, or put the other developer's information in.
Can that be done? Or do I need to claim the ticket at time of purchase? Based on the recent track record of WWDC selling out in a week, I'd like to make the purchase ASAP. Thanks.

Not surprised. Apple have created all this interest in the tablet market. For now they are top dog. They won't maintain whatever huge market share they have, but I'm sure they will remain top-dog for the next couple of years.

Why do you guys assume Nvidia cannot make graphic cards for Sandy Bridge? Have you seen Dell's Alienware laptop line? They have the new processors and also are using Nvidia graphics card.
NVidia can make graphics cards but they cannot make chipsets. The 320M is the chipset as well. There are only two chips in the logic board, the CPU and 320M. With a discrete GPU, there would have to be three chips; CPU, PCH and GPU. Since space is very limited in MBA, there is simple no space for all three chips.

It seems to me that Apple are the good guys here for once, slapping down a company that is trying to trademark terms that are already in use albeit in a niche market!
Personally, I can't see how Apple could be seen to be the good guys in this case, given they're sending cease-and-desist letters to people using 'pod' (not "iPod") in their product names.

Considering how corporations screwed up when it came to administering home loans, you think they'll do any better with your private information?
Talk about a bad idea.
So the fact that AT&T can currently know everything about you from miles away is ok, but if they add a chip that works for 30 or 40 feet...that's a problem?
