This is also what I have understood on doing some research; there also was a similar thread here "H1 Status After Using EAD" where people seem to say the same.
That is, once you start using EAD you loose your H1 status. If you want to get back on H1 (before the decision on 485) then your company has to extend your H1 in which case you will have to give up your part time job.
Things get bad if your 485 is denied while you are on EAD then your company may be able to extend your H1, but you will have to go out of country and return once the H1 extension is approved.
There was a thread on IP some time ago on this.
One of the rules of H1 is you should be working fulltime ( if your LCA says so) so you still need to fulfill those requirements. While as far as EAD is concerned you can use AC21 only if you have worked for the employer with whom you filed your GC for atleast 180 days right? The interpretation is probably only for the status validity as far as i can think.. You can be in both the statuses at any given time but use only one status for your work. Also i read in one of the bulletins/posts that at the POE the IO will always look to see if your underlying H1 has valid period and if you have a stamp and then use that one over the AP to allow you in to the country.

I am working on Company A in H1B status my GC sponsored Company B for Future Employment and they applied 140 its Approved suddenly dates became current I applied AOS with 140 Approved in July afte that we got our EADS APs FPs all etc. my sponsored employer asked to join then I joined in Company B on EAD status

one more question Plz. Sorry for bugging.
I lost this Expired EAD card during moving and now i only have its Front copy which i am going to submit with my I-765 form.
will it be any problem submitting only front copy of the Previous EAD because they are requesting for both (Front and Back) of the Previous EAD.

Please dont gets your hopes too high. I am not saying this out of scepticism but out of the depression and pain I experienced on july 2 when the evil uscis said they will reject all 485 applications.
I understand the good natured thought behind IV stating this possibility of "good news", but they should have held off on the announcement until it was confirmed. So many people are unnecessarily getting excited. god forbid if this news fails tommorow I can only imagine the pain the people would experience.

I used AP thrice and renewed my H1 twice after entering using AP without any issues.

I got my first AP and i travelled once and after coming back renewned my H1B and now i am thinking of applying for AP renewal. Can you please tell me if I can travel while the AP renewal application pending? The instructions in I-131 form says, the application will be abondoned if the person leaves the country after filing I-131.

Did you surrender your I94 on the way out? If so, did the IO give you a new I94 when you came back in? The other gentleman made a comment about not surrendering the old I94 if traveling by road and if the trip is less than 30 days.
When we have traveled to Matamoros, MX for stamping we had AP and H1/H4. On return we have used H1/H4. NO questions asked at the border check post.

Yes I changed job and my new company did the EB2 filing. It took roughly 9 months from starting the Ad, recruitment efforts, filing and approval.

I shot this image shortly after sunrise, using my 300D and Canon 75-300 at 300 mm and 5.6. ISO was 400. I was using the car door for support. The attached image is straight out of the camera. I shot it as RAW, resized for posting, and saved as a jpg. I'm real disappointed with the detail and the noise. Is it just not exposed properly? Is the steam causing the geese to appear out of focus? I shot about 30 images and they all look basically the same, other than intentional exposure variations. Normally I can figure out what I did wrong, but this time I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

We should better target each and every senators/congress in the judicial panel which oversees immigration with a message and a request to look into VB fiasco and recapturing of EB numbers .
May be some of those message through flowers / community services in that particular leader district /meeting them with a group of people

The FAQ is saying Labor should be approved by the time you file for 140. Attaching any piece of evidence along with your 140 application that your labor has been approved should suffice.
The FAQ is warning against filing 140 before Labor approval as many newbies may be wondering if they can utilize this 485 window by applying 140/485 based on a pending labor.
